Each resident is afforded two free 25 minute on-site personal/family video visits per week, not on the same day. Visitors conduct visits via stations at the MCSO
Administrative Services Building (formerly the Work Release and Restitution Center) located at 901 Elizabeth Avenue in Charlotte, North Carolina. Additional internet visits
can be conducted via a webcam enabled computer, or Android device, at a cost of $10.00 for a 25 minute visit, or $4.00 for a 10 minute visit. Depending on availability,
resident visits can be scheduled for any day of the week. In-person visits are available.
Visit Restrictions: Visits may be less than 25 minutes due to facility emergencies, lock downs or for disciplinary reasons. Visits conducted via the MCSO Work Release and
Restitution Center are limited to two adults and one child or one adult and two children (adults = 18 and over).
All Visits must be scheduled at least one day in advance but cannot be scheduled more than one week in advance. To schedule a visit please click the link below:

Please note there is no public parking at the MCSO Administrative Services Building. Please park at the 4th Street Parking Deck (983 East 4th
Street in Uptown Charlotte) located at the intersection of 4th and McDowell Streets.
Clergy Video Visitation:
Each resident receives one free 25 minute clergy video and one in-person visit a week. Clergy who are interested in being approved for visitation must call the MCSO Volunteer Coordinator at 980-314-5172 during normal business hours, Monday-Friday (clergy calls only please).
